It's done. I have a radiator with a 40% larger core and 35% more cooling surface. The radiator is going in tomorrow and will be tested at Sebring and Homestead this Friday and Saturday with datalogging. Unlike some products, this thing is going to be tested in track conditions. I am trying to put together a group buy option after we do the initial testing and make sure we are seeing the 10% + plus temp drops we are hoping for in ECT's, CHT's etc.

Although some say this car is not for tracking, I want to find out how we can make it track and track well with sustained horsepower throughout the run. Its an uphill battle but worth it never the less. Those of you that are interested in upgrading this portion of the cooling system either post up or send me a PM. The radiator is being made by the same guys that make radiators for NASCAR, Indy Car and one of our favorites, Mustang Challenge cars. In order to truly be effective there are other cooling system modifications that are necessary but inexpensive and necessary to take full advantage of a efficient cooling system.

More to follow. Let me know if you are interested. The more the better when it comes to the initial group buy. I've already got about 10 guys that are ready to go once the testing is completed.

You know I'm down for one and if it performs the way we all hope, probably a second one down the road.

Sebring Friday. Homestead Saturday.

Radiator went in tonight. Looks awesome and a perfect fit with only minor mods to the fan shroud. A couple of fins in the rear have to be clipped to make room for the condenser lines. Also a couple of hoses have to be trimmed by an inch or so.

If it's a pound or two I would be surprised. It's all aluminum.

Testing Complete. THIS RADIATOR WORKS LIKE A CHAMP. I beat the crap out the car today. I did a 20 minute datalog with a predator.

After previous sessions with the stock radiator we saw engine coolant temps in excess of 240 degrees and the computer pulling serious timing as the temps rose. It was HOT in Homestead today. During the 3rd session I decided to put it to the test and see if it works. The datalog showed Inlet Ambient Temperatures at 140 degrees (way too freakin' hot) and Downstream temps in the 185 to 190 degree range. The computer never pulled timing. The highest recorded Engine Coolant Temp over a 20 minute beat down session.............206 degrees for all of about 2 minutes and then it dropped back down to an average temperature of 202.

That's almost 20 percent drop in Engine Coolant Temps.

It's been tested and it works.

Hey, its better than nothing at all. Like when you buy a Whipple Supercharger. Not one freakin direction. It's here you go!

Email me if you have any questions. It is a bit of a bugger of an install but well worth it.
