Im thinking about going with the Type 65 from FActory Five. Im torn because I have always run the Mustang. Not going to happen fast but, ... Just wondering what others think

A fellow parked next to SPRSNK and me at Mid-America this year had one. It was very nice, but it needed a driver with some :censored: :baby: :hysterical: He was brave enough to take it out on track, but I got the point-by at least twice a session with my 4k# pig.

I would love to have one, but I will probably build an AIX mustang first............

Sounds familiar. My grand plan was to have fun with the GT500, get my license and do the Factory Five Challenge Series (or just have fun with a dedicated track car). But then wouldn't you know it. I raced the GT500 and the mod bug hit. Oh let's do the suspension. Oh let's add some power. Oh let's upgrade my brakes, and so on and so on. And then you meet great guys like Van and it is like pouring gas on the fire!!!!!!!!!!! I would still like to do the Factory Five thing, but if I don't soon I may end up with with a new blower, a cage, slicks and so on. It's all fun. Of course the Factory Five may be cheaper in the long run (that may be a lame attempt at justification). Good luck with your decision as I dont think you can go wrong.
