Hey, Ruf. How's it going? By using this thread you don't have to deal with the "One Word" thread!

I am thinking about sending the IRS an Email (from a Friends Computer). A couple of Years ago, working for the State, I received a $1,000.00 Bonus (instead of the 3% Cost of Living Pay Raise). When I got the Check is was about $650.00. Since it was a Bonuse, they took out MORE Tax. This is what I want to ask the IRS:

A lot of People have been Paying a "ADM" on New Cars, everything from $1,999.00 to $25,000.00, possibly more just for the privilege to BUY the Car at MSRP. Shouldn't that "ADM" (Additional Dealer Markup) be considered a Bonus?

How Much TAX does the Dealerships Pay on that ADM?

David.

Does it really matter what a thread is for as long as people enjoy it for whatever reason?

It all balances out at the end of the year. Bonuses are often times taxed heavily. It all shakes out at tax time. You get screwed either way... :finger:

Ruf complains that the one word thread, (a thread that is free flowing with no particular topic), is hard to read. I concur, so I started this thread so a group of people can chat about whatever they want without others complaining about it being off topic.
