I found this Ebay car, and I don't know it just seems wrong. The dash plague is completely wrong that is what go me off. Anyways, opinions anyone?

A call to SAI can confirm if it is genuine.

I would lean towards this is B.S.

There is a 07 Vista GT/CS at the local Mistsubishi lot with no GT/CS stripes that the shelby over the top stripes have been added, has SHELBY GT rocker stripes, the ugly fender badges on ebay, and a dash plaque similar to the one in the above car. The Mitsu lot is advertising it as a SHELBY and are asking 29,000.00 for it. I have called them on the phone and tried to convince them its not, but oh well, sure hope someone does some research on these cars before buying.

Well lets see CS6 hood , CS6 grill, razor wheels, brake upgrade, front fascia is wrong, stripes are wrong and where's the SC? I could on and on but its definitely not a CS6. It's not even close. The plaque should read turn key one, turn key two, etc.

CS-6

NOT a CS6

It's a nice car but he shouldn't advertise what it is not. Real diamonds in the stripe??
Everything I see is easily bought and bolted on plus the CSBI page on the CS6 says it is available in 2006. His car is a 2005.
I am curious about his Shelby registry comment though.

I am investigating this car. It appears to be a manufactured car. There may be some serious licensing issues we may need to address. More information to follow. Buyer beware.

In regards to the e-bay posting. The badges and ID plates are not a Shelby product and have been reproduced. We have taken action to correct the listing. The car was listed in our registry documents and the entry will be removed.

Thanks for posting. :)

Go get them Roger :finger:

Folks stay away from this one. Bad news no matter how you look at it. This is a perfect example of how the SAI registry will be invaluable to Team Shelby members.

I always thought the dash plaques were hard to get. I also am seeing a car on the MAA site sporting one...

Moss Mustang used to sell them for about $12. I just checked their site and no longer see it listed.

It's one of the more recent cars, and VERY nicely done, I might add. It just doesn't look to me like it started life as an SGT...
