Looking to find current owner of this KR vert. I owned the car for many years and regret selling. I did hear of maybe a Dave Delainey owning the car? Any help would be great. Possible finders fee if I can purchase it back. I am the last known owner in the registry. Thanks

kr3760, Welcome to the Team Shelby forums. Glad that you found us.

Its times like this that I wish CarFax could run the shorter older vin numbers but they just don't. If only they could we possibly would get a state to begin the search at.

The best advice I can give is to try to contact the person who bought it from you and start following the trail. If you don't remember who you sold it to perhaps you can get your DMV to run a records check on the vin. There are some states that let you do this still.

Good luck.

Thanks for the responses. I have sent Vince the 68 registar at SAAC a few emails, however never got a response. Maybe they are not allowed to give out owner information. I will keep up the search. I know the gentleman I previous mentioned owned the car or still does. I have some info but would like to get in touch. Thanks again.

Mike

They may not want to give out the owner information but that doesn't excuse them for not replying to you. Heck they could contact the current owner on your behalf by giving them your contact info and asking them to call you.

We here at Team Shelby support you on your quest to reunite with your old friend. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I can fully understand their postion on not wanting to give out owner information. In todays world you never know who your dealing with. However, like you stated they could pass a message on. I don't want to beat this subject to death and cause a stir. I fully support SAAC and its members. They are a wealth of information. I can just hope the current owner see the post and replys. Thanks again

Mike I can`t believe Vince didn`t reply to your E-mail maybe he is away. There should be no problem to get the info but I can see him not giving you the persons personal info.
