I was in Vegas a couple weeks ago, and while there, went to the Shelby plant and tour. Of course they have a series 1 there. Beautiful car, but looking at it, it screams GM.

You do know that Carroll has worked with manufacturers other than Ford right Dr?

Yes, I was just saying that the car has a real corvette-like feeling in person.

Just like with Ford and Chrysler, Shelby raided the parts bin at GM for parts. Besides the drivetrain you have the Pontiac Trans Am gauge cluster and the Delco stereo among other stuff.

I love those cars. A Series 1 is on my list of cars I want to own. It's currently in the #3 spot to add to the collection. I have to get the wife a Ford GT first.
