I'll have the Hotel details by mid January. We're working on a better place then last year. Where cars are secured, and the rooms are nice!!!

I'm planning on attending again. This year's show was very nice, especially considering that it was the first edition. Next year's should be even better.

Ottawa is a great show!!!!! many will be there!!!!!


the tea party is the first very casual gathering to discuss ideas and suggestions
that we might like to do as group in and around the GTA....eg..mosport,cayuga ,racing...
maybe at a track or tracks near ottawa.....this is just gathering info......

Hey guys, hope all is good and the snow is not getting to you. I've got the hotel info for you. Last year, the hotel wasn't as good as we tought. So this year, I've got two places. I still have to talk to them and get you slightly better rates, but the prices are a good indication. There are both with 5 minutes of the show with easy access. The hampton with the higher price does offer underground parking. I've got lots of good news for the show, stay tuned to the forum!!!

SPRING SHOW OFFERS RESPITE FROM ECONOMIC WORRIES

10 March 2009 -- Ottawa, ON -- While you may wonder where the automotive industry is going, you can still take an afternoon to appreciate some of the best cars ever built.

Stephane Ritchot, organizer of the 2nd Annual National All Ford Car Show presented by IKON Wheels, is pleased to announce that the upcoming show will again occur during the National Tulip Festival and will be larger and better than last year's event.

Again held on the grounds of Sterling Ford, a turnout of up to 300 classic, contemporary and collectible Ford vehicles is expected. Among the most iconic vehicle in Ford's history, the show is expected to be dominated by Mustang sports cars, but a wide range of other enthusiast models will also be present.

Show participants are being asked to bring a new or gently used backpack for donation to the Children's Aid Society of Ottawa. The agency will fill these with school supplies and other necessities for needy families as the new school year approaches.

The event runs from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Sterling Ford, 1425 Ogilvie Road, Ottawa.

Show sponsors and supporters have emerged from diverse locations, including Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal. Farther ranging support has come from Florida and Nevada. Sponsors include IKON Wheels, Sterling Ford, Shelby Performance Parts, Mustang Direct, Blacktop Professional Auto Care, Meguiars Canada, Lethal Performance, HYPE Energy Drink, DaSilva Racing and LenTech Performance.
