I thought I'd start a new topic on the subject and seeing that this is my first time, please go easy on me.

For those of us who have already purchased one of the 427 packages, does anyone know if it includes any lodging or transportation to and from track? headscratch:

Nope you're on your own for that. Just like getting to Vegas, its all up to you to get there.

Once you arrive is when all the fun starts :happy feet:

Ditto, e-mailed LVMS and they said we're on our own when it comes to making travel and hotel plans.

Not really sure what the itinerary is yet either, but I went ahead and booked my flight and hotel. Won't be getting there until late afternoon on Friday, so I'm hoping I don't miss any of the fun.

I was thinking about getting there late Friday as well. Sure would be nice to have the itinerary before making reservations.

This is what I thought and I have to agree an itinerary would be nice to make plans. Anyone have suggestions on a hotel or will any do?

I have been to the Brickyard twice, 1st time we drove there and we were stuck in the parking lot after the race for 5 hrs and the 2nd time we flew over on my friends private jet and and were back home after the race in 45 minutes, now I have to agree that was the way to go. Can anyone shed light on what we should expect at LVMS that might have been to a race here?

I did receive an itinerary from LVMS, but it only details the schedule of events; nothing specific pertaining to the "427 Pacakge".

:headscratch:

Hi all,

I believe we are working with LVMS on "special" parking for the ones who signed up for the 427 package. This will be kind of close to the track and it will make it a bit easier to get out. Normally it takes me about 20-25 minutes to get home on a normal day. I have been to the NASCAR races a couple of times and if the parking is near where I parked before, it took me about 45 minutes or so to get home.

Once I find out about parking, I will post it. I am sure there will be parking permits in the package and I can then map it out for you all. It is a zoo when the race lets out, but if you know the "long" short cut, it will cut off a couple hours of waiting :)

Thanks,

Bud

Thanks Bud on the parking news but what about the schedule for events, such as the tours and group photo. Will we miss any fun by fying in on Friday afternoon?

Does anyone know the results of the drawing yet? Are there hotels anywhere near the track? Where are people staying?

Ditto on the drawing! :lurk:

There is not many hotels near the track, most are closer to downtown LV.

Very excited about being there for the Nascar 427 events now. Just got the call from SAI this afternoon to send my car in for the Super Snake package! Looks like I'll get to see my car in the shop during the tour of Shelby HQ.

Bud;

Any updates available for those of us who purchased one of the 427 packages? :headscratch: Is there an itinerary available yet or any information (dates/times) for scheduled events, such as the tours and group photo? We're getting close and it would be good to have the information so we could finalize our plans.

Thanks.......... :happy feet:

According to lvms.com only 24 days left till race week. Some of us need to make plans. Hopefully Mon. 2nd of Feb. there will be more information floating around. Congrats to whoever won what ever. I did get an email that my credit card was charged the 2nd 1/2. I think once the money has come in then there will be a lot more information.(hopefully) Iam still really excited about being there that week end. What an absoulte ball will be had by all.
