Jekyll Island/Brunswick GA this Sunday... Anyone interested in a quick Meet N Greet?

Wife and I will be over on Jekyll Island Fri night through Sunday noon for some business. Will be taking her new '08 Red Stripe Vert on the trip. Sunday afternoon will be available for a meet n greet with anyone in the local area.

Willing to meet anywhere in the Brunswick area, just name a place and I'll find it.

Beginning to think IF there are any local TSers, they must all be at Vegas Bash... :headscratch:

No, just a kick-off retreat for a year-long community leadership program for Valdosta/Lowndes County GA.

We do have a member that lives on the island. He doesn't check in everyday and as you said, they could be in Vegas. I've visited the island many times. Summer time is great for the beaches and just lounging in the downtown area with all the shops and restaurants.

All the corporate giants of the 1920'-1940's had summer homes on the island and one of the big concerns of the US Government was a German attack by submarine commandos that would cause chaos in corporate America.

Enjoy your time off.
