Looks like Tasca should have most of the parts for our conversion by the 23rd. :happy feet:
Only thing the may be missing is the front fascia, which is on backorder.
Agreed not to ship our car up there until they have all the parts.

Our 16 yr old passed his licensing test last week so he's using it almost everyday now.
Helps him handle the waiting.
We also got both 1/18th models to have something to look at.

Congrats! How long do they expect the base install to take, once they have your car and all of the parts?

Thanks guys! :D

Ken--Their best guess so far is just a couple of weeks, depends on how much work is required of they body shop to fit/paint the body parts.
Suspension and exhaust changes should just be bolt-on work.

Rick--we'll see, but with my car, nothing starts until they have all the parts, so it could take longer than I hope to even begin the project.
Does Quantum have all the parts for your build?

Nope, it was just a convenient time for me to drop it off. It will sit for a while before they go to work on it. I'm not expecting delivery before early April, but it feels good to know it's at least in their yard.

That's exciting news! Hope the fascia shows up soon.

Our's turned 16 yesterday. We checked her out of school early and took her to the DMV for her test. She passed. Now dad sits at home doing this :baby: and some of this :lurk: and some of this

While she does this :shift:

Thanks. Getting excited now that this project may be starting soon.

And, I think I know how you feel, my waiting at home while he's out cruising is worse
than his waiting to ship off the Mustang to Tasca. :o <_< :eek5:
:D

Hope to get him into a teen advanced defensive driving course this summer--they require 6 months of driving
with a license before a teen driver can attend.

At least you are a step ahead of us, our Mustang is sitting out on our driveway buried under 8" of snow.

Uuaaggghhh!!!! 8 inches of snow is more than enough, and here's what it looks like on the Mustang.
Can't wait for Saturday as it is suppose to be in the 60's by then.

Snow? It's in the 80's tomorrow. I saw snow once. It was that white stuff on your car.

Well, I wish....

New update, still at least two weeks away. Apparently a new maker for the front fascia has been found and
should be supplying parts soon. The kit for my car should ship out from Las Vegas in about a week, SAI is only waiting for the fascia.
