The only reason I ask is because it would be nice to have the caravan in memory of LSR. I know LSR's wife is going to be attending along with his car that StangCrazy has.

We are booked in Hermann both nights. Our plan was to drive out Saturday morning to meet up with the group for the drive in. I am betting we are close to 50000HP strong on the way into Hermann! LSR would be proud

I'm doing the same thing: booked both places, and will give up the Friday in Hermann as soon as plans solidify for Friday night and the cruise into Hermann from O'Fallon. Ditto on the "Can't wait"!
PS. That means some rooms will probably be opening up soon at the Hermann Hotel for at least Friday. I'll post here if I cancel so someone here can grab my spot.

Depending on the weather, and how much "fun" we have on Friday night in Hermann... I wouldn't mind getting up early enough to drive into O'Fallon (IL) to join up with the rest of the crowd for the return trip back to ShelbyFest... Looks like about 95 miles each way...
Is there a designated meeting place and/or planned departure time/route???
If so, please post up so that everyone who wants to can join in the drive

That is what I was trying to find out when I posted this thread. I hope someone comes up with some idea. I know there is still time but even that is getting short.

Right now, I think we have 4 or 5 cars coming from Colorado. We are heading out Wednesday mid-day from Denver and will be hitting the St. Louis area on Thursday afternoon, if all goes according to plan. I'll be in O'Fallon on Thursday and Friday night, possible Saturday as well.

If not, then I guess we could come up with something on our own
Say leave the Baymont Inn at 7:00am for the 90-minute drive back to Hermann
With registration scheduled to start at 9:00am, that would get everyone coming from O'Fallon (IL) into Hermann around 8:30am...
People wanting to participate FROM Hermann would need to meet at the Ford Dealer at 5:00am
Which would put us at the Baymont Inn around 6:30am... Quick-turn and drive back with everyone else...
Thoughts???

I may have the stops reversed. The BK may have been the last stop.
Then it was on the Hermann !!!!

Makes no difference to me... Just need someone to come up with a time and a place where we can join in
THANKS!

I believe this is the route LaMonte took.

If you go the north route, I can suggest a couple of locations to meet if you like. I don't go on the south route very much so I am not too familiar with it. The north route doesn't have any stop lights unlike the south route going through Washington.
