We are almost finished developing a JLT Brake cooling package for the 2007-2009 GT500. It will include 2.5” metal reinforced brake duct hose, custom aluminum brake backing plates (powder coated black) and all needed clamps and hardware. Options will be to add our JLT brake duct bezels to finish the look at a discounted price.
We use 2.5” hose due to the pre made brake duct housing on the GT500 bumper is 2.5”OD. Simply drill from the back side with a 2 ¼” hole saw and the hoses clamp right on the bumper housing. Then remove the wheels, calipers, rotors and factory backing plates. Use the existing hardware and install JLT’s custom backing plates and connect cooling hose. Reassemble brakes and wheel and your done, very simple install.

Prices:
JLT brake cooling kit $139.00 (FRPP kit is $319-up)
Add JLT brake bezels $50 (black or Silver) and $70 (polished) ($19 savings)

This is not made up of cheap junk parts, it’s just priced right!
We will have at least 10 kits ready to ship in the next couple weeks, but that can be increased if we have more interest.

Here is a shot of the proto type backing plates, the production units will be powder coated black.

Cool air needs to blow on the center of the rotor for even and productive cooling.

I just ordered your fresh air kit (be here today) but would much rather have the brake cooling kit! Count me in, that's if I can return the other kit!

THANK YOU for making a good product and NOT overcharging use like everyone else. Is anyone working on a cooling kit for the rear brakes like the 40th's come with? I know it's probably not needed as much as the fronts. But I but guys and gals would get em too.

I'm in, if I can get the bezels in the "Clear" anodized billet look.

overtime

PS: finally got the Redline Tuning hood struts installed. A bit un-nerving drilling into the hood, but they work great. Thanks for the group buy.

I'm in too. I've been looking at the Shelby ones trying to justify the $500 for the whole deal. Little much... plus i read a couple guys saying they've been on back-order forever.

Thanks guys.
We have parts in process and expect to be shipping kits within 2 weeks, 3 at the most.
You will be able to get the bezels in any color we have, black, clear/silver or polished. These have been selling like crazy and were out of stock on the clear, but are in the rotation to be produced and ready about the same time as the brake cooling kits.

I'll keep you all posted.
Thanks
Jay

Jay - I already have your bezels in black. I will take the brake cooling kit ASAP. My car is already in the shop being worked on and the front end is conveniently off as the C&R Radiator and Heat exchanger went in today.

How soon could I get it???

Shoot me a PM so we can go over the details. I would call, but I have moved to AZ and the time zones don't work for me after I get home as it will be 8:00 PM in VA.

Question

Do the bezels come with screens or are they simply open holes?

Bezels are open.
If it's a concern screens could easily be put in during install.

Shouldn't be a concern as it's not normal to have rocks or stones hit this area of the car and the ducts don't direct air to the rotor fase, but the center hub.

Thanks
Jay
