Griggs Racing made this video of Colin and I running the track at Infineon Raceway last Saturday in their GR40ST.
I posted pics of this event and spoke at length about how much fun it was in this thread: http://www.teamshelb...showtopic=40108
But I wanted to start a new thread for just this video, so it didn't get lost in the shuffle. Anyway, this was by far the most fun I've ever had in the passenger's seat of any car in my life! :shift:
I hope you guys dig this nearly as much as I do. :)

Ken

That was fantastic. Lots and lots of cars passed. I've been gathering lots of info about the Griggs set up. It's time to take the next step and get her done.Posted ImagePosted Image

I love the little captions. I guess if a 300hp GT with Griggs can smoke an M3 then that answers all my questions about the GT500 doing so.

Congrats Dan! You'll be shocked as to how great the change really is. I can't even imagine how your Mustang handles now with that much power.

I have no idea. I tried sneaking a glance at the speedo on the long straight only once, but couldn't see the needle.
I was mostly concerned with hanging on for dear life. ;)

I had less than 20 miles at Infineon when I started that weekend. The car is just that easy to drive fast.

I just ran across the video on YouTube. It's basically a remix of the video Colin made a couple months back, but by some random enthusiast.
Cracked me up to watch it with the music and extra clips:

I have no idea who he is but he has made a couple of videos now. I think they're kinda cool.

I'm just finishing one of the GR40ST and a Corvette C5 Z06. I have video from inside both cars. Should be up tonight.

Hey Colin did you ever get those videos finished? I'd love to see them with the sound and all, whenever you get the chance to post them up
