Some of the guys selling their cars think the 427 Package gives the car $100,000+ in value

$310,000 for a Shelby 427 Pace Car: http://cgi.ebay.com/...A1%7C240%3A1308

Posted Image

$250,000 for a Black SuperSnake Vert: http://cgi.ebay.com/...A1%7C240%3A1308

However this car has people from NASCAR that signed the hood

$120,000 - 150,000 for a Blue 725HP SS: http://cgi.ebay.com/...A1%7C240%3A1318

A little bit greedy??????? These guys are throwing stones and are hoping they hit someone with a big bag of disposable cash and little sense. Although the pace car is cool, it's not $300k cool. Imho.

Of course, if someone walked up to you in a parking lot, and offered you half a million for your car, you would tell them that is too much, and take 50k, right? :hysterical:

I dont have a problem with them selling for that price....my car is my life, but if I had to put a price on it....300k sounds good to me!

The pace car is too pricey, but the others aren't too bad...a 427 SS would run about 85-90k if they got a great deal on the car....shipping and all the other expenses...120k and no waiting isnt too out of line... :lurk:

Spoken like a true blue car salesman. Not a hit but.....get real. Your talking Ferrari ADM numbers in their peak and only "stock brokers" and the huge bonuses did that and it was usually in Miami or somewhere in Florida. This $$ is no longer in play Dubbs~~~

So if you can buy a 2008 coupe for $41k at a whole buch of dealers right now, plus SS package at say $35k with upgrades plus $2k for shipping your at $78k total cost. Shelby says 6 weeks right now to turn out the SS so your looking at a wait of 42 days and your paying approximately $42k premium so "you don't have to wait". Well if you get that car into Shelby by mid April you'll have it back by first week of June, just in time for prime summer driving. I guess if you can find someone willing to dust off $1,000 a day x 42days for his lack of intellegence it equals the premium so "you don't have to wait". BACK THE TRUCK UP JIMMY, WE GOT A SUCKER COMIN WITH HIS BAG OF CASH.

Edit: Oh ya, I forgot the $6500 427 package, so I guess were down to around $875 a day so "you don't have to wait".
HEY JIMMY, FORGET THE CUBE VAN.......WERE ONLY GONNA NEED THE 3/4 TON WITH THE TOPPER FOR ALL THIS DOUGH!!!!!
