Let us know how we are doing with providing people with enough information for Shelbyfest.

Are we giving you enough information?

Are we giving you the information you need?

Is there any information that we have left out?

Are there any special needs?

We want to know how we are doing so far.

My opinion - You guys are doing a tremendous job. Setting all of this up, scheduling, planning, taking time to answer all of the questions we have, and still maintaining your every day life.

My hats off to you, Kyle and EVERYONE else involved in putting ShelbyFest together!!!!

9 days and counting :shift:

Is there a page with the specifics laid out, lunch on Saturday? Dyno Testing? Prefered time people should be at the event?

Thx

I echo the praise.

I would like to know exactly where the parking is so I can google image it.

Would also like to know if there will be parking for the vintage Shelbys. I hate to get parked and settled down doing the final detailing only to discover that the cars I should be parked with arrived and decided to park across the parking lot and there is no long any space to park with them.

We are not reserving specific areas for specific models or generations. We simply do not have the room to do it this year. We are going to be parking the cars as they come into the show. If a group of people want to be together, we are asking that they come together. We will be re-evaluating everything as they come up and this is one area that will be top priority for next year.

Ok, fair enough.

I guess that leads me to the next question, how ~many 60's Shelbys are attending? If there is only a couple and I will not worry about it. I am sure I will see them on Friday.

Your right...that is a good question. Kyle will have to answer that one. I know there are several but as far as how many? Don't know for sure.

You guys are doing great, but of course, the big test comes on Saturday. But don't worry, we're all in this together and we will pull together to make this a successful event. What is the closest estimate of numbers attending?

There are over 80 cars pre-registered this year. This is not including any local Mustang clubs, other caravans and other people who decide to come. We are estimating over 200 cars this year. Last year there were 11 states represented, this year there are 15 so far. We are starting to get down to the wire now and there are going to be several surprises and things this year. We are in unchartered waters for Shelbyfest this year.

Yeah, and I'm really "pumped up" about it! :happy feet: I'm just wondering how I'm going to snap pictures, push record, pause, shift, and keep my eyes on the road at the same time.

Now that is going to be interesting. Let me know how you do it. If you have a small video camera, you can velcro it to your rearview mirror.

Is there anyway to broadcast the NFL draft at shelbyfest? I'm a huge football fan also and didn't even realize they fell on the same weekend until a couple days ago...

Right now I am saying about 6-10 vintage Shelby's including 1 69 GT500, 1 67 GT350, 1 66 GT350H, 2 67 GT500's and I'm sure there are others but I can't seem to pull them from memory. There will probably be more as the weather unfolds for us.

Oh yeah, and at least one Sunbeam Tiger. :hysterical:

I have a direct tv receiver and portable dish...we would need a way to transport the dish from St. Louis to Hermann & back, also a TV & power.

Let me know if any one can help. Or, maybe it's just on regular TV

The draft show begins at 3:00pm central time and it will be on ESPN so it won't be on regular tv but it will be during the awards ceremony at the end of the car show so maybe we will just have to find out and listen to the radio during the cruise up to dinner...Having a TV on the draft at the awards show is a bad Idea and would take away from the event in my opinion..,

Wins-A-Blazin has several TV's on satellite and they are located right across from the vendor area.

You've been doing AWESOME! GREAT JOB and THANKS for all the info/updates, etc. etc. I think it will be good...with all things, we'll all keep flexible and roll with the flow and have a great time. Half the fun will be just meeting the people in person AND seeing their fantastic cars too! I'm PUMPED!

THANKS AGAIN & KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!! :happy feet:
