Depending on what it was at the dealer for in the first place, anything that happened to it sitting outside could be easily fixed.
A first 2006 GTH barn find?

Sounds like the dirt and bird poop is from the way Galpin is storing the car. Not a great endorsement of the way Galpin treats a customers car.
Did you get the dash or vin number?

it was dash number 200. i have never have had a problem with galpin. i think from what i hear the car owner is been playing games with them and trying to get ford to fix non warrenty items.

It has always seemed to me that Galpin customers are split right down the middle. I see just as many complaints about them as I see positive reviews.
The BBB currently shows 47 written complaints. While it appears that Galpin does answer the BBB complaints and they have a good BBB rating for doing so it still makes you wonder why so many people are filing BBB complaints. That old saying where theres smoke theres.........
I should note that I have a biased opinion of Galpin. Had a co-worker years ago get screwed around by them. I'm also not a fan of their Auto Spa customizing.
I'm aware that there are many Team Shelby members who are happy with Galpin. It all comes down to who you are comfortable with.

They sell it, pay off the loan and keep the rest?
A lien sale usually means the car is sold and the repair bill is subtracted from the sale price. Any extra money above that has to be returned to the cars owner.
If the car is financed I'm pretty sure all they can do is attach a mechanics lien to the car. They are unable to sell the car as it is owned by the bank/finance company.

Enis I think you were away when this thread started. Have you seen this car at Galpin?

I was advised that a flatbed showed up about three weeks ago, and presumably the owner picked it up. I say presumably because my contacts at Galpin said that the owner was not with the tow truck driver.
I understand that owner let the car sit there for one full year rotting away.
That's all I know.
