I'd hold off on the heat exchanger and call SAI and order the Shelby Heat Exchanger and Shelby Radiator. Especially with the 10% OD Pulley and the higher boost. That girl is gonna be HOT!

I know, I am some what bias to the Shelby Cooling System but its a Super Snake that should be super cool!

After everything is said and done please let me know how they did on your SS. If I decided to HOP it up I would like to have somewhere to take it.

Sorry it took so long to reply.

EVERYTHING turned out great.

Tim at Modular Powerhouse was great to work with !

It is unbelievable the difference these mods made ( night and day )

Only thing I'm going to change is the intercooler. Not that the AFCO is bad, I just think the twin fan Shelby now offers would be better suited to "Cool-her off" ( Plus it's a Shelby Intercooler )

New Power #s are as follows:

RWHP 652
RWTQ 650 :happy feet:

From a rolling start ( 3rd gear or 4th ) she's great.

First and second are pretty much useless with the Pirreli's.

Got some Mickey Thompson's ordered that should be on by Wednesday this week. Hopefully she will hook up nice with these.

Do the full Shelby cooling package. The radiator is worth the money. When your water heats up the engine will start to retard timing (pulling out hp).

Yes. Upgrade both Radiator and innercooler. Do not remember the price off the top of my head. Call Van at Revin Racing. He will set you up. They make them for Shelby. http://www.revanracing.com/

Can I ask why alot of you guys are changing your Borla Exhaust to the JBA system
If it is a better system why do you think that Shelby didn't fit the JBA as part of the package

I did not like the sound of the Borla. To quiet for my tatses. Second is HP. Reason Shelby does not include them on the SS package, but sells them is because they are not CA legal. I do not think you can run headers legally in CA on the street. You can add the JBA as an upgrade in the Shelby registry under your car.

Not a problem in South Carolina

And the sound of the JBA Long Tubes is kick a$$ :peelout: under full throttle, but relatively quiet at cruising speed.

One of the best mods I have made thus far !

As stated in my previous reply, they are relatively quiet at cruising speed ( 2500 to 3000 rpm ) but come "alive" during full throttle.

I love it !
