Hey John, congrats on getting the 427 package. I hope you had enjoyed your week long trip, and remember not to drink too much Tequila.

The sun visor badge was not numbered either. Even as late as the March update, the tequila was still being signed. I thought it would look like the 85th anniversary bottle also. My bad on that one.

Other items:
Sun visor badges and AsomBroso Tequila are awaiting Carroll's signature. These items will be shipped separately when completed along with a special edition die-cast and a Certificate of Authenticity. Watch for further communication.
So something isn't right here...
Although I still like the package and don't regret my decision to purchase it, I am disappointed in the fact that the package content seems to change with no advanced notice and/or upfront explanation. I understand that unforeseen issues may necessitate changes but then they should be upfront with the information and come up with an alternate plan (as they did with the underhood badging) or simply compensate us in some other way (such as discount coupons for Shelby Parts or the Team Shelby Store).
I'm still trying to find out what happened to the "Grille Badge" that was noted and pictured in the original 427 package release flyer. That appears to have been dumped from the package but to date I cannot find any explanation as to why and what was substituted in its place. Anyone have any information on this?
It appears as if SAI is making changes on the fly and hoping no one will notice the changes. IMO I don't think this strategy is working and what really frustrates me is that they have all my money and I am limited on my options.
Just my 2 cents.....sorry for the long post....

Not sure about the Grille Badge, but when I was working with SAI regarding my 427 stripes it was mentioned to me that Mr. Shelby was not in the best of health and he would more than likely not be signing the Tequila. They said they did not want to hold up the 2nd shipment.

I'm kinda glad that I haven't received my package yet, I'm really not in the mood to be disappointed and feeling let down by Shelby Automobiles. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there was a mistake and someone is on the ball to fix it immediately. The PAID customers of the 427 Limited NASCAR edition deserve to receive what they paid for and what was promised...especially now during economic crisis.

I am thrilled with the performance of my car and I guess thats what most are looking for. I have a few minor issues with some pieces/parts, but SAI is working through those with me and I am getting great customer service.
I am hoping that SAI will take pity on us Shelby fanatics and maybe work something else out with us since the tequilla thing didnt work out
Amy/Bud....if you are reading this anything signed that would hang on the wall or sit on the shelf in my office would be appreciated by me (and I gather many others in this forum). For me, the decision to purchase the 427 Package was much more about Mr. Shelby, the momentos (and my hope to maybe meet him at the race that didnt happen) than the car. All the performance was in the SS package.
