Hi guys... just wondered if anyone has put their 40th Anniversary badge on their car or are you keeping it safe/stored? I have mine stored with all my other documentation etc but was thinking of putting it on? I rememeber this being talked about before but couldnt find the thread.. I remember a couple of people putting it on the right side of the trunk, top corner? ... thoughts?

I put mine to the right side of the faux gas emblem, same placement as the 66 GT350 emblem. Others have chose the right side of the trunk lid above the right tail light. This is were Shelby put it on the pre-production car. I like the 1966 placement better, but there's something to be said about the other also.

Please fill me in about this 40th Anniversary badge you mentioned. Is this something being given out or is it something that has to be bought? Where dou you get it?

i went to my local vinal sign company. and they replicated it exact size in a simular shade gold to match the stripe.

i removed a dealer sticker that was above the drivers side tail light. so i put it there, not thinking to put it in the same spot as a 66. so i had some extras made. thinking when that one wears out to replace it. then i would move it to its rightful position like the 66's. i then purchased 235. the badge was not on the car so i put it on. i think it looks better between the gas cap? and tail light on the passenger side like the 66's. when i get home i will try and post pics of both. or if you explore and old topic you might find some pics there.

It should have come in you package from Shelby once you registered with Shelby.

I placed mine above the right tail light only becouse of the SAI install on the proto type. With that said, my other option was in the location of the GT 350 emblem of the 60s. See signature pictures
