I had good intentions of recording tons of video, including footage from the Late-Model Exhibition Race. But the weather was brutal, with temperatures above 100 degrees all four days. It was all we could do to keep hydrated, service the cars, rest and stay in the shade.

So I only recorded one video. Here it is; enjoy. :shift:

Good video. What was that blue smoke near the end? I thought I was going to see a spin out.

If you slow the video down really slow you can see me lapping you about 5 times in that 10 minute session, it's a blur, but it's there! :hysterical:

Good video. I couldn't believe it when I got to Hallett and my video system was completely shot. Nothing worked. Oh well. Nice work.

Looks like only one area to pass on track?

Look closer.

This video was during an OT session with passing limited to the 4 main straights. And it clearly shows passing occuring on all 4 straights.

During the exhibition race, there was passing everywhere. Corners 2, 6, 9 & 10/11 are all areas for late-braking passes. And turns 4/5 can have several different lines and get very interesting at the apex & exit of 5. For equally matched cars/drivers, there are 4 prime passing areas; turns 2, 4 & 10 and the exit of 9.

It is really a fun, technical track. :shift:
