The event is hosted by the Blue Ridge Mustang Club of Asheville. They are expecting up to 200 cars for the show on Saturday and 300+ for the Pony Run on the Blue Ridge Parkway Sunday morning. I know a couple of other board members are going besides myself, SGT/SC2873 & f8l-vnm along with our families.

Is there anyone else on the forums going, if you are post up and maybe we can all meet for a meal.

would be great to have a bunch of TS members with their Shelby's there. Bring the wife and/or GF as our wives have already picked out the mall. I have heard that our wives will be "showing" our credit cards at the Mall. Nothing like payback. Craig

I'll be there. Will be driving down from CT. on the 23-24 and stopping for the GTG on the way back to FL.

If you haven't made resv. you might want to check things out. Last year they filled up early.

The wife is staying in CT for another week so that means i get to drive the Tail of the Dragon.without somebody ripping the armrest off the door.

I'll be going for the Pony Run, arriving Saturday. We'll be at the Roadway Inn and hope to see some of you folks there. Can't wait to see and hear 300+ Mustangs running down the parkway

Is anyone interested in a Team Shelby dinner meeting Saturday evening? I thought B-B-Q would be a good place to eat; I did a little research on the web and found a place 8 miles from the show site called Luella’s BBQ, it had a very good review on Yahoo. Here's a link to their menu, very basic and reasonable, 8-20 bucks depending on what you eat.

Kim and I should arrive in Asheville between 5pm & 6pm from the SCMC cruise on the Parkway, I was thinking about meeting at the restaurant @ 7pm.

So my question is who’s in?

Carl, got your pm and you can count me in . Found 2 diff Luella BBQ. One's on Merrimon Ave and the other on Hendersonville Rd, both of which are right at 8 miles from the mall.

They moved over the summer from Hendersonville Rd. to Merrimon Ave into a bigger place.

Looking forward to meeting you guys too Carl. As it stands right now I'm trying to hookup with a riding buddy (motorcycle)who lives in Hendersonville Saturday night, but if we see that's not going to work, meeting you guys for BBQ sounds great. I'll have to get back to you but Luella's sounds good.

...Steve Saleen is VERY interested in doing a VIP meet and greet with Saleen owners and our club members (BRMC) the Friday before our Pony Run event. Anyone own both a SHELBY and Saleen. Any S7 owners out there?
