Can you hear a noise on the first two not present on the second two? Any opinions?

You can definitely hear the difference between the 1st and second, and then with the 3rd and 4th videos. If your not close to a professional who can diagnose, I would buy a mechanics stethescope at Carquest, etc., to find the origin; the stethescope looks just like the one the Doc's use and I have used it several times to find the center of where noise comes from. They are very good tools to find worn bearings, bad valves, etc., in alternators, etc., and I'm sure you can pin point the center of where the nosie is coming from with that tool; it is a must tool for diagnosing where the noise is coming from. Hope this helps.

John it was easy to hear the difference in person. I would recommend that you call KB and maybe have a local affiliate shop take a look at it. you paid good money for that car and you really should not have to work to diagnose or fix anything in my opinion.

I would give at a few miles until the oil that naturally flows into the SC, which some install an oil trap to prevent, works its way into the SC. My TVS made a similar noise when new. But as the oil worked its way into it, the noise from the friction of the lobs spinning got a lot more quiet.

Mine sounds like yours in the 2nd video. Only noticable, when she is coming down from high idle.

The noise from the supercharger sounds normal by the clips, there are some variances between compressors, each one is individually hand built and tested. If you feel uncertain about the compressor we will gladly take a look at it, you will just have to pull it off and send it in. But I can assure you it sounds completely normal.

Don't worry about the supercharger, just get out there and have a good time with car!!!!
