Now I broke down and got myself a 2010 GT500 because Ford couldn't make up it's mind. Last I heard was the 5.0 is coming out and a possible "sticker" BOSS( ) the following year. With a 5.0 and a Track Pack, there isn't much left to add except stickers.

I'd bet that rumor is correct

Well, they can add forged internals (if 5.0 isn't already), TR6060 vs 5-spd, tuned suspension and bigger GT500 brakes. They could do a lot more but it has to go down the line and I'm sure they'd want to leave room for aftermarket/FRPP upsell goodies too -lol- ...they wouldn't want the BOSS to be *too* perfect from the factory now ;-)

Everything the GT500 is but without the 5.4 s/c motor. Could be a winning package in its class and a GM killer.

+1 ...I think it will also serve to elevate the GT500 since a 400HP GT, at some 400+ lbs lighter than the 420HP SS Camaro, should show the Camaro it's tail lights. The Camaro's a bigger 6.2 and has tons of LSx pieces available but stock-for-stock I think it's a win for Ford all the way around.
