AWESOME VIDEO AND PIC'S ; I HAVE ATTENDED EVERY ONE OF THE 14 PREVIOUS

WOODWARD DREAM CRUISES. THIS WAS THE 1ST ONE I MISSED. THANK YOU

FOR REMINDING ME WHY I WILL NEVER MISS ONE AGAIN.


AS A FOOTNOTE THE FIRESTONE ON THE CORNER OF 13 MILE RD. AND

WOODWARD IS THE EPICENTER OF STREET DRAG RACING HISTORY ; PAST , PRESENT

AND FUTURE. IN THE 50'S , 60'S , 70'S. THERE WOULD 100 - 200 CARS WITH

PEOPLE HANGING OUT ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS AT THE NORTHWOOD

SHOPPING CENTER WHERE THE FIRESTONE IS AT. GUYS THAT WERE ENGINEERS FROM

THE BIG 3 WOULD BRING OUT THEIR PROTYPE AND DEVELPOEMENTAL MUSCLE CARS AND

PEOPLE WOULD PAIR OFF AND HEAD OUT ON WOODWARD AND DRAG RACE.


I STARTED RIDING MY BICYCLE UP THERE WHEN I WAS 6 YRS OLD AND WATCHED

BRAND NEW 60'S AND 70'S MUSCLE CARS GO HEAD TO HEAD. IT WAS AN

AWESOME ERA FOR MUSCLE CARS AND THE WOODWARD DREAM CRUISE

BRINGS BACK ALL OF THOSE GREAT MEMORIES.
