I stuck this here, as there doesn't seem to be any where for vintage GT-350s. These shots are from 1980 and are not of a 'continuation' car. It is one of the original four (at the time it was thought to be one of six) original '66 GT-350 'verts.

That is really cool I love the Vert Shelby's. Nothing beats putting the top down and kicking in the supercharger.

I'm not sure how many of them were 4 speeds, I know at least one was.
This was obviously the onyl way you could get A/C on a '66 GT-350!

Thats got to be Cliffords car,where was this photo taken?
looks like my red 68 in the background.Wish the resolution was better.

You're right, that is (was?) Cliffs car. The photo was taken at the Dallas SAAC meet in 1980. I went that year, as well as '81 and again in '84.

Someone remind me what year it was,but I took my 69 to an SAAC convention in pasadena? back around 78-9,i just dont recall.
That is where I saw my first 66 conv shelby. he wanted,i think $6000. i would have considered it,but i had just bought and painted my 69 GT350 and didnt want to deal with the issue. estupido!
