Hi
I'm new here :) Year ago i bought 2007 Mustang V6, modified front (GT front), now it's time for some major changes.
I'm building CS6. I can't afford to buy whole Turn 1 or Turn 2 so i'm going to do it step by step. I have started with cs6 hood, that is on the way to Poland right now. Next i will buy front fascia and grille, then rear etc.
I'm just thinking about stripes being made white not silver.

Here's my gallery of current state of my v6 (well, pictures made some time ago but that's not important):
http://www.calvos.pl...tang/index.html

I will inform You about progress and post some pictures after modifications are made. The hood should be in about 1 month (damn shipping prices and taxes ;) )

Excellent.
The stripes are the normally the last part so you don't have to worry about that for a long time. But if you do the full official kit, the stripes have to be silver and frankly the silver looks classy on black (they are not solid silver but are metal flake silver which doesn't show up in pictures).
Building a turn-1 from scratch is less expensive and gives you more options than a turn-2. You can forgo the supercharger altogether or use a different supercharger or even a turbo charger if you like.

For tips and pitfalls, here is a complete thread on building a CS-6:

Kaes,

Welcome to Team Shelby and warm regards from the USA. Congratulations on your Mustang and good luck with your CS6 conversion. Thanks for posting the great photos and keep 'em coming as you go along. I enjoyed the pictures and the beautiful scenery. The garage pics look really great! I am sure your Mustang gets lots of attention in Poland.

Awesome project Kaes! That will be one rare machine in all of Europe!! Make sure you post pics as you work on the car :D

Just wondering, how many Mustangs (all models) do you see cruising around where you are in Poland? I was talking to a guy from France and he said you're lucky to see a dozen in downtown Paris on a busy night.

Congrats again on the car!

Well, in Krakow there are few. My V6, one Pony, one 1973, one GT500 KR and a black Bullitt. Those are the Mustangs that I "know" personally, and know their owners. When we (Polish Mustang Club) made in april first big meeting (45th anniversary of Mustang) there was 73 cars in one place. But they are rare, each of the owner loves his car and tries to make him unique in some way :) Most of the Mustangs are in Warsaw, capitol of Poland.

Here are some of links to my gallery:

Well, the hood is in Poland, it is being painted today, so far it is "pre-paint" (i'm not sure correct word in english).

Also - almost new GT-exhaust arrived, I bought rear fascia from GT (actually from Bullitt but I think it's the same), and trunk emblem CS (but it will wait for the end of visual changes with emblem).

Today I will remove my white stripes :( and till the spring Mustang will be black.

Here are some pics:

After whole day at the garage we managed to change the hood. It fit's almost perfectly, near front window - at the sides it is a little lower then the sides of the car, and it is harder to close the hood - but I will try to fix this.

Hood looks great! and with that... welcome to the bird-bath club!! CS and GT-H owners will know what I'm talking about :hysterical:
Just make sure you have a rag handy if the car gets rained on, because water will collect in the center. No big deal, but you'll be the last one done drying your car if you get rained on at a show!
