Out With a Bang!
Most clunker videos are undramatic, but this old F-150 goes out swinging, and watching it blow made people wonder if anyone's been hurt putting down a doomed car. Given the numbers, don't injuries seem bound to happen?

We should have taken video of every Ford that wouldn't die. Then compiled them into one great commercial! Talk about Ford Tough! This would prove against all the BS from those in the media that bash American cars as junk.

I wonder how the foreign cars did while burning up their engines? Did they hang tough and refused to die like a lot of these Fords or did they just quit easy?

Thanks Rob for posting that.

I thought it was neat when airbags became popular in the 90's and we would discharge recalled ones in the parking lot but this "liquid glass" engine killing stuff looks like way more fun, that is until somebody gets hurt ;)

Does the car have to be crushed too or can they salvage the rest?

I believe the only other restriction is that the clunkers have to go to a licensed junkyard where only parts can be sold off the car.
