[GT500-2007]

I had my hood open yesterday and noticed that the paint on the underside of the hood right above the rear part of the KB supercharger is starting to discolor. My car is Vista Blue with the polished KB and the paint on the underside of the hood above the rear of the KB is starting to take on a greenish yellow tinge. The affected area is about 6" x 8" and I suspect it is being caused by the heat generated by the KB. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? The car has about 1500 miles since conversion. I have tried taking a picture of it but you can't make out the color contrast in the picture.

Curious to see if anyone else has noticed a similar affect....

I had about 3K on mine and didnt have any color change. I didnt have the polished KB and that might make a difference

I have about 2000 miles since my conversion and do not see any discoloration near the kenne bell.

I HAVE A POLISHED KB AND OVER 7,000 MILES SINCE CONVERSION WITH NO DISCOLORATION. CAR IS WHITE WITH BLACK.

I got the car out today and got some pictures with better light. Still hard to see but in these two pics you can make out the greenish yellow discoloration I first posted about....






Its right above the KB SC and not evident anywhere else on the hood.....so the only thing I can think of is the heat somehow affecting the paint. I guess I'll email SAI and see what they say....
