Just a reminder on the vehicles you can run and participate with at the bash:

The vehicles are only those built by Shelby Auto's or Carroll had a hand in
building(Dodge, viper, or Ford motor company). Basically anything Team
Shelby recognizes.

Just wanted to clarify as there have been some question regarding brand and make.

Hope this helps.

Roger

So that means no rentals? We have to bring/drive/ship our cars out there??? Last year they let the V6 rentals go on track.

I enjoyed the Vegas Bash '09 with my 2005 Legend Lime Ford Mustang GT Convertible during the cruise, track and at the car show. Does this mean that I do not qualify for the Vegas Bash '10? Hopefully not. Please clarify if I can still go.

Yeah if NO V6 Mustangs are Not allowed then I will need a refund on my ticket because then I won't be able to make it.

I just can't justify hauling my car 1800 miles each way for a three day vacation. And I can't drive it because it will never see salty roads.

I beleive you are missing the three Ford F-150s they did...and I think there may have been a F-550 if Im not mistaken(or was that another make-I dont remember anymore)

Hmm, Ross, you do need to let us know if rentals are not an option...cuz thats going to change things a bit since GT-H is off the table from Hertz...and Im probably not bringing the whole RV setup like last year. My wife will be 8.5 months preggos and I may need to jump a plane at any moment...I cant be caught on the road 26 hours away if she decides to pop!

Hey guys, the information I received is from our team at Mid-America who will be handling the event.

I will check with the guys, I do not think there will be any issue with the Ford rentals :)

I can't find a rental company who will guarantee a Mustang for January. I can only find one place that rents V8's, but one is a Saleen and one is a Roush. I am guessing that may be a problem??? The Mid America web site only talks about "Ford powered" vehicles.

Anyone know of a place in Vegas that has Mustangs (V8 or V6) for rent and will commit to having them in January? I won't even ask about the whole taking the car out of state thing.

Try FOX rentals. older cars but they do have mustang verts. CA - NV not a problem with them. I usually rent one in LA and drop it in LV.

Notice we never got an official response from Mid-America...non-responsiveness must be a contractual obligation to do business in the auto industry... :hysterical:

NEWSFLASH! I just spoke with David (bash director), and because this car is Shelby branded, he told me that it has been cleared to enter the bash events, but it does need to pass tech inspection before it can go on the track.
