I'm asking $27,500 OBO.
Saturday the owner of a GM dealership is looking at the car and is very interested but I know he's going to try his dealer tricks so we will see what happens.

Wow, that's a smokin' deal! I'm surprised the Camaro SS isn't going for at least MSRP (if not an ADM) ...I guess there's just not much demand? Strange.

Probably right, Paul, and it didn't qualify for cash4clunkers -lol. If it was truly an outstanding car it might sell anyway, but while it's performance is good, it's handling is mediocre.
Along that thought ...I noticed in a car mag comparo (C&D/RT?) that the mustang GT outhandled CamaroSS and Chally. Earlier in that issue, just for laughts they put the Lincoln that the camera crew was using (MKZ?) on the same skidpad and it pulled a .90! ...better than Challenger and Camaro SS! I thought that was insightfull.
When Edmunds tested the SHO it only pulled .80 (artificially limited by stability control that can't be turned off), since that was without the $995 Handling Package which gives two modes, I beleive, like the Lincoln.

GT500-07......your word about the economy being very bad is right on. Also, if you have the coin you can really make good deals right now.

Congrats Barry! I just saw a brand new black Camaro SS today. It's very nice, especially the rear end styling and the hp.

I'm not looking to replace the SGT but to trim expenses.
The car is gone and there will be a GMC truck in the yard Monday. It will probably be back at the dealership in 31 or so days depending on what the misses decides....
Funny thing though, her next car in a few years will probably be a used, yellow Camaro. She is leaning that direction.
BTW, if you want to know what I got for it, let's just say I took it deep and hard with no lube and had to fight for that. In all actuality the dealership did a very good job and we missed my asking price by $500.

Thanks Dave. There are three Camaros at a dealership in town and they are pretty sweet looking. Two black with red trim and one solid white.
I thought these cars were impossible to find?
The wife might be looking at a new one but I think if I get another Camaro in a few years, I'm shooing for a classic. New cars just aren't doing it for me anymore.
