Hey folks, don't know if any members of the Gulf Mustang Club frequent TS, but they were very kind to invite me to participate with them in their Saturday night cruise in down in Panama City Beach. Met some great folks, saw some cool cars, including a 40th package GT 500 vert. Sunday afternoon (today) there was another car show at Spinnakers in PCB. Another good turn out, lots of fast-n-furious types along with 21 Vettes and 14 Mustangs--when I left just as the rain started.

We drove the GT 500 down from Kentucky and had a blast. It truly is a grand touring car AND the only car I've ever owned that prompted Krispy Kreme clerks, drive-thru workers and total strangers to offer to park it for me......

Thanks Gulf Mustang Club!

Having a blast in PCB!

Hey Wheelman,

Did you by chance go down Interstate 65 to get there ?

Me and a buddy (and our wives) drove our Mustangs to Kentucky this past weekend from Alabama, and I saw a car just like yours in Tennessee going South on I-65. It was an awesome site to see. The car flashed its lights at me, but because my headlights were covered, could not flash back.

YES! That was me! I saw you and just had time to flash my lights while driving with one hand and pointing you out to my wife with the other! Good to know who it was. What were you in KY for, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks for the post!

Your Car looked incredible !

We went up to Bowling Green for the NMRA All Ford Nationals. There was a car show with a few hundred very nice cars in it as part of the weekend, and the fastest Mustangs I have ever watched going down Beech Bend Raceway.

There were a lot of vendors there also (Brenspeed, JDM, etc.), and I got to meet Fred from Evolution, as they brought some cars and also had a vendors area set up. Their grabber blue 2010 GT500 was also competing there in the King of the Street Competition.

Kentucky is a beautiful State !

Thanks! I would have loved to been there for that, but it's fall break and the beach (not beach bend) was calling us! Our fall break is usually a week later--to coincide with Columbus Day, but not this year. Glad you had a good time.....
