If you are interested in this cover, please let me know if you would be interested in a complete cover, painted with or without stripes or bare.

***If there will be a GP, that will not be the price. Price is not yet to be determined

Yes, I would like to sell a painted option. I spoke with Hendrix about having them painted and he is going to get a quote with me, for both Paint and Stripes. As soon as he has that information for me, I will be able to relay it here. I would like to see who would be interested in a cover though, whether painted or not.

I spoke with him about other products in the works, and I believe something like this is coming shortly. Once I have updates, I will post accordingly.

***UPDATE***

Just recently got off the phone with BangaStang and we agree on painted versions being the best bet. We are going to run a Group Purchase for our first initial order and it will include shipping.

The price will be $485. This will be for a Painted Version with Stripes.

The price for painted solid without stripes, would be $465

For the customers who are interested in a painted version, please allow at least 14 days for paint.

I am going to take the list down in person. So if you are interested in a Radiator Cover, please call me at the office. You can either call me or email me. If this is an issue for some of you, please send me a PM. I would rather there be an email or phone call in case I lose track of someone on a board. The other reason for this is because I need your VIN number to match the paint, and I don't think I want everyone to post their vins online.

Note : THIS IS FOR 2007-2009 SHELBY GT500 ONLY! Please stay tuned for other versions to come at a later date.

Thanks,
Matt

I like the radiator cover! I like eliminating the factory hood prop. But I don't like hood lifters that mount on either side of the hood. Are there any other reasonable options for propping the hood up? Or is this a dumb question...

Hummm...VIN number. My VIN number would pull up black w/white stripes (I did a stripe conversion to red stripes after purchase). Would there be a way to spec the stripe color instead of being stuck with what came from the factory?

+1

Valid Q from me as well. What are all the options since there would be no place for the front prop rod?

Asked that exact question myself since mine was delivered black with alloy side stripes , converted to red after delivery - should be square, have it set up for black with red stripes - double checked

Matt:

I have a Super Snake and I think these look great. I would love to get in on a group buy. However, for the Super Sankes would there be the ability to have a cut out for our CSM SS Tags? As well, could there be hood prop options? Our SS hoods are heavy and I am not sure about converting to hood lifts. Some guys have done it, but I am not sure the fiberglass is strong enough for the hood struts.

Cheers
Brett

The C&L Intake is not an issue, only the Ford Racing requires a little more work. I will have to check with Bangastang about the Moroso covers.

That is not an issue. I will let him know what colors they need to be. The VIN is needed more for the cars with White, because Ford used more than one blend for the White. I can make them different colors than what your VIN pulls up though.

I know Bangastang offers Hood struts, but I will have to double check on a prop location for the Covers. I know we briefly spoke about the SS covers, so let me find out for you before I mislead you guys in any way.
