I'm currently working with two companies to "rent" a hauler out and back. Their truck, their driver.
Cost is looking like about $3,000 TOTAL per car, out and back. Both will "fetch" cars not on direct route but will add about $100 to your cost.
One spot is ours and one spot is being held right now. That leaves four spots open.
The advantage to having a whole truck is, they can load later and unload sooner because they won't try to fill open spaces.
Please let me know if you have any interest in a spot.
I need to verify but the most likely route is:
PA Pike west to Carlisle, PA
I-81 south to Knoxville, TN
I-40 west to CA

I'm not far from I81 - so that could work for me. I still need to call MultiBiz to see what they could do. Though I don't think they can beat $3k. That's what they charged me 2 years ago when I had the 40th pkg. done in Vegas.

All cross-country traveling needs to be approved by scheduling. If scheduling gives their OK, I'm good to go. Our problem is coming back.
Our January is packed tight, that's why Peaches was travelling by hauler this time. We have the bash, a huge party, and two weeks in Hawaii.
We DON"T have traveling days.
