Let the buyer beware...

No stripes; wrong hood; GT500 cobras on fenders in lieu of PBF badges; GT500 trunk lid identification, GT500 wing and faux gas cap...

Isn't there a registry where things like this can be checked for authenticity?

I ran an OASIS on the VIN. It's an authentic 2008 Shelby GT. They ruined it in my opinion. :nonono:

I think Bud can match the vin to the csm if someone is looking seriously at the car, seems like the dash plaque & grill may be all that's left of the orig. shelby gt cosmetics!

Pulled the Window Sticker. It has the right upfitters package. Looks like the real deal.

I like the hood. I was gonna say it looks real from the dash plaque and the low stance.

IMO they should not have put the GT 500 faux gas cap on it. They could have used the FRPP faux gas cap without the GT 500 lettering.

$40k is not bad for what the owner must have in it...kinda bums me out. Wonder what mine would fetch? :cry:
