Asheville Ford....Terrible, Sucks, Rude, Crude, hope they go out of business
okay I am sure you get the point
We were customers (as a family and a business for 40 years) and they got sold to new owners who are absolutely terrible.
I drove 600 miles (round trip) to Macon Georgia to get my SGT while they had one on the lot at Asheville Ford
Take Care

I recomend Gus Machado Ford of Kendall for service related issues, never dealt with their sales but service is good to go, ask for Frankie M. A tech that knows his job well and is honest.

Downtown Ford - Sacramento, CA - absolutely terrible service shop, the sale dept is very decent however
Hoblit Motors - Colusa, CA - absolutely awesome service shop, small outfit, family owned for decades, fair sales dept, all around wonderful service

Wow. I was at Bossier City for a year or so in the late 1950s. There were but three states, then, and it was called ARK-LA-TEX!
Oh, about Ford stealerships ...
My experiences only, of course.
Temecula CA Rancho Ford. Sales staff were great 'phone and Inet posers, had good lines, but never, ever followed up as promised.
Kearny-Pearson Ford, San Diego. Formerly Kearny Mesa Ford. Sales staff was really really helpful without being overly aggressive. They got the car I wanted from Temecula at a great price. Temecula had failed to install the metal fuel door option, K-P sales guy gave me the money and the door, when it came in. Part of the Sun-Road ripoff nation; must not have got the message from headquarters, yet.
K-P service was OK but I went elsewhere after they raised the price of a procedure by 90% without saying so until the bill was presented. Waiting room is small but pleasant, big window walls and wireless access, decent outdoor tables, too.
K-P body shop: did a decent job of painting a spoiler and the fuel door, but (BIG BUT) they scored the deck lid getting the old spoiler off and denied it was them. Who else could it have been who put those deep marks in the paint just ahead of the pedestal locations. I told them about fishing line and they shifted from foot to foot. Then I noticed they had not put any new double-sided tape on the bottom of the (takeoff) low spoiler, and it yielded to lifting with the sticky sound of "stuck-a-little unstuck". I wouldn't let them touch another car of mine.
Pearson Ford, San Diego CA. Now consolidated with Kearny Mesa Ford. Good, friendly sales staff, good deal and no nonsense. I think they had seen the future, and were making every effort to look like a good asset for the merger with Kearny. Not to mention reduce the number of transports from El Cajon Blvd to Clairemont Mesa Blvd.
Pearson service was marginal: when I got home and reviewed the paperwork from a first service (free oil/filter change) I saw they had put some kind of graphite additive in the oil, without asking permission. Low, my view. I think they were left behind in the merge. Waiting room was distant from the service-writer office and the cashier, and included the parts department.
Drew Ford, La Mesa CA: Sales staff has a sense of humor; I pointed out that my cheap-o GT/CS now carried the same rear wing as the $80,000 KR in the showroom, and they actually laughed along with me. No other experience with them.
Drew service did a "5,000-mile" on the convertible this week. Quick, seemingly accurate and complete, and a nice wash job (except for the wheels, which bore greasy evidence of the rotation) thrown in. Waiting room is bright but claustrophobic; at least they have outdoor benches as an alternative.
Too much information? I have the impression that every stealership is subject to mood, just like folks. Sometimes there is something happening in the corporate being that is Ford, and the effects are noticeable at every level. Sometimes everything is smooth and quiet, sometimes the hormones are raging and everyone rubs everyone else raw.
