There are a few still on some dealer lots. Talk to Mr. Morris. He'll hook you up.

Miller? How do I get up with him? And I have had little luck finding new cars or the internet.

I hear there are still some Barrett Jackson's at some Phoenix dealers. I'd just start calling them. If one doesn't have them they'll know who does. Pretty rough shape having been outside for almost two years. Still, not many and they can be resurrected.

San Leandro Ford (SF Bay Area) has a new 2008 Shelby GT Vert in stock. Contact General Sales Manager David Johnson @ 510.347.4114 for more info. I bought my 2010 Shelby GT500 Coupe (Torch Red, Rapid Spec 820A, Stripe Delete, Electronics Package and HID's) there this past July for $2,437 off MSRP. Great dealership and service!

Sanderson Ford in Phoenix, AZ had three verts two with Nav, the cars were around $37,000 in August when I bought mine from another dealer. Make sure before you buy a Shelby GT that you resolve any stripe and scoop issues prior to purchase. My scoop was okay and late in production, but the stripes are giving SAI & Ford fits and it takes a long time to file a warranty claim, after you resolve this your good to go. Plenty of help on the forum, we've all been down this road....

If you just want a Shelby GT, call michael morris he can help, or your local Ford dealer can do a locator for you, there are still a great deal floating around and Ford has made the final cash payout to the dealers and they are ready to move them...

Ok, I have sent a message to the Georgia dealer. Just wanted to thank everyone for the help and suggestions. We will see if this car and I were meant for each other.

Burnworth-Zollars Ford in Ligonier, IN has a '08 Shelby GT vert. Blue with silver stripes, black top, 5 speed manual. Just checked it out yesterday.

OK update. I am presented with an 08 vert. Neat looking car and unique stabilizer bar. It is a beautiful vehicle.

BUT.

I have not considered the vert until now. Can anyone direct to me to a similar thread that discusses this and/or what are your thoughts about this vehicle in the convertible. Drawbacks and advantages.

I feel like I need to make a quick decision as I do not want to keep the dealer hanging on. Thanks to everyone who has helped on this thread.

Just a note: I remeber reading somewhere in the forum that the verts do not have the Ford Racing suspension (blue shocks etc). I dont know if you care or if I am 100% correct but you might want to check into it.
