I also noticed that all the "mustang" conversions have different striping than when initially introduced this summer.

I like the wheels also. Look a little like the Ford GT rims.

Yes, but the Shelby GT500 has a specially designed suspension and brake package to go with the increased horsepower.
A person would spend $22K to increase the power by 75% yet not touch the brakes?

o Performance suspension with Caster/Camber Plates
Included in the price of the Turbo package are the GT suspension and brakes...so I guess you get the Shelby GT/Turbo for 22k...not a bad deal really...

You mean the Lincoln inspired/designed suspension? The softest suspension to ever come on a V8 Mustang? The GT500 suspension was "specially designed" to be soft and easy on the driver. Think Lincoln Mark VIII.

Is that brake package superior to the current GT500 package? What rotors, calipers, and gripping pad area does it have? I just don't know.
I have camber/caster plates on all of my Mustangs. What spring rates are used? Is it engineered for the increase weight on the front? Are the shocks adjusted with the springs? How much additional weight is added with the turbo? How much of that weight is behind the front spindles, and how much is in front of the spindles? I just don't know.

Here is a GT500 that is fast at Road America. I see little spring roll-over in this turn:

That may be true.
But I have held a competition road racing license for 19 years. I've raced a lot of Mustangs.
I've read about all of the early Mustang championships. I've seen them win a championship with 1995 Cobra R's. The S197 FR-500-C has just won its third Grand-Am Championship.

I may have missed it, but I don't remember any competitive turbo Mustang in road racing. I'd agree that a turbo is very fast on a drag strip.

Most competition SCCA/NASA Mustangs are naturally aspirated.
