So I was noticing that the Shelby SR is running the GT-4 style wheel which I now have due to the Brembo brake upgrade. The "SR" has a "Shelby" branded center cap (see pic) and I WANT a set of those caps! So, how do I get them? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Probably have to buy the SR package to score these (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lurk.gif)
But if not, I'd buy a set for sure.

Pretty cool.

Send Bud a PM or email. He can give you the 411 on them.

Steve

PS- SEMA is getting started so give Bud a little time to get back to you. Luckily SEMA doesn't open its doors at 5:00am or we would never see Bud this week (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Show me some pics of your car with those wheels! Did you go with full chrome of just silver?

The center caps are limited to those who purchase the package.

Chris

Edit: Or at least they where, I asked in June at Mid-America.

Are they the same as the one pictured above as far as finish? Or is that one up top the silver finish?
Let's see some pics of your new rims!

Let's split the cost of the wheels. You can keep the caps and I'll keep the wheels. Lol

Sorry, this isn't the greatest shot (with my blackberry) but you get the point. I do like them as they're lighter than the Redline's I have, show more of the brake setup and generally ok. I may go back to some sort of "Bullit" style wheel eventually. But Shelby has obviously taken a liking to this style of wheel. Just need those Shelby "branded" caps now!!!

Very nice! I think that is what I've been looking for. How wide are they? I look forward to seeing more pictures.

Very nice wheels. Any idea how much the combo weighs?

The size of the wheels are 18X9 in front and 18x9.5's in the rear. My Redline's were 10" in the rear, but I notice very little if any difference. Also, my F1 tires I swapped over to the 9.5's with no issue...

I have my track tires on GT500 wheels and I have a full set of Goodyear F1's waiting in the wings which use to be on the GT5 wheels. So yeah, I'm good on tires for a awhile.

As far as weight goes, I have no idea how much they weigh. However, I'm going to the track this weekend so I'll be pulling them off, i'll try to remember to weigh them and see how much.
