Just checked the rates for the following weekend (Jan 14 - 18, 2010)

THU = $75
FRI = $120
SAT = $120
SUN = $75

4-day TOTAL = $390

Compared to the weekend prior @ $140 per night ($560)... That would be a $170 + 12% Room Tax savings, even if we didn't get a "group rate"...

However, my guess is that if the Bash was moved a week later, then the host hotel would raise the daily rate since it was a "special" weekend...

Just need to have BUD request to have CS be part of the Poker Run on Sat AM (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drool.gif)

It would be too hard to switch our Vacation times at work now.(IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

*Just confirmed the reservations at the Aliante Station and even though the operator didn't think there was a "special Rate", I gave her the code and Shelby Bash term and she was able to find it then!

We were out there in September and Vegas looked like a ghost town, so this will be a major week and weekend for them to have these events happening. I'm sure the economy being as it is hasn't helped for that either.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting new people!! It's always a fun time at these events!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Got a flyer from the Aliante Station Hotel now through December 29, 2009 1 night free, with additional nights for 29.99. They would not honor after that date.

I just reserved the room at the $139 rate, the first time I called I mentioned Team Shelby rate and the lady had NO idea what I was talking about then I decided to find this thread and got the correct code of saying Shelby Bash and then they found the correct rate. Now I'm going to reserve my V6 and I get my plane ticket and all should be good.
