Just wanted to say Hey Goober! I just left the SEMA show and The Shelby Tour a few days ago and will be staying in Chandler AZ for awhile. I plan on meeting up with Chip at some point and would love to meet some other Shelby GT owners and see some cars and mods and maybe find a few other car places to visit. I did go to the big Mcdonalds saturday nite show that is every week at Indian Bend.
I have a 07 Shelby GT automatic but I do not have it with me.

My family takes up the majority of my time and I wouldn't have it any other way. Nice fun ride in my SGT, car shows and spending time with good friends is always a nice way to pass the time.

I'll be in Phoenix all this week at the Greenbuild. 11th to the 15th for me. Have a SGT 2321 Black. We live East of Phoenix about 160 miles. Have you checked out the Bass Pro Shops there? Neat place. I will check to see if any local car/cruise ins/shows this weekend. Will get back to you.

You really are here at the best time of year. The weather is never better. Enjoy your stay. I'm about 2 hours away and my SGT is getting new stripes and scoop... at the dealer for over two weeks.

Thanks all for the car show info. I'm going to Riverside, Ca this sat and sun but will be back sun nite and will be going to the Good Guys show next week.

Frank what city are you in? Would love to see your finished car. Chips scoop and painted stripes was just put on mine but I haven't seen it yet as it was finished after I left for this trip.

Burr,
I'm in Tucson. Unfortunately I don't know when my car will be done. My SGT has been with the dealer for over two weeks. Luckily they gave me a Lincoln MKZ to drive around in. The new scoop is definitely a better product then the original. I can't wait to get it back.
I had the good fortune to meet azmartin (Jeff) and his father at a Mustang/Fords show in Tucson. Their good folks and I hope to meet up again. AwakeinAZ is out here too. It would be nice to have a get together one day and take some pics of our rides. It's just that we all live so far away from each other.

Frank,
AwakeinAZ lives in Phoenix area? You are in Tucson. So how about I cruise your way, meet AwakeAZ in the middle, maybe Florence Junction, cruise the backway to Globe, lunch, go home. Be a good day, fun to. Globe/Miami is nice. Rosevelt Lake is close and a nice drive also.
:shift:
Think about it for spring.
Trying to make the Fords on Fourth, business may have to come first.

Hay Jeff that sounds cool. We can talk more if you make it to Fords on 4th. BTW.. AwakeinAZ (Greg) is here in Tucson too. I've seen him at a few shows/crusies. Between his 500 and your mods I will have a hard time keeping up.. :hysterical:

Frank, all my mods are internal. I Like your SGT rims, I need to get an update for mine. There are to many performance parts I want first. The cams, program, pulleys, driveline, gears make a good deal of fast fun. I probably won't SC the SGT. With the new GT 500's with the aluminum block on thier way, I will probably get one on order here in a few months. Still having a hard time with the rear of this car, but I guess that is GM and Chrysler problem. :hysterical: Can't see it when I'm driving. :shift:

Looks like Fords on 4th may be off for me. I will be back east. Have to make some money to buy toys.

You going to any local cruises in the next few weekends?

I'm in Sun City West, northwest of Phoenix, let me know if you get something going. Also put March 27th on your calender. Wild West Mustangs of Arizona and Sanderson Ford are putting on a show and drag races for Fords only.

Sorry Awake I thought you lived in Phoenix. Even better AZwildcat and I need to meet up with you, in Tucson sometime. Do you get to the Pavillions much? I am going to the March 27th meet in Phoenix, sounds good. Can't make the Fords on 4th this year, have to work.

Earl,

I am 60 miles East of you. I am out this week. What are you up to next week Feb 1-7? Maybe we can meet up for a cruise.

Jeff
