[LL CS6]

Got a little surprise in this months Modified Mustang and Fords magazine this month. In the readers rides section there was my CS6-X "Slimer" on pg 85. I had submitted some photos a couple of months back but didn't think it would ever make it in.

I've been to a couple of shows in the last couple of months in which Slimer showed well.

I went to the NMRA in Bowling Green KY in Oct. There was 3 CS's there, yes 3, there was a red w/black stripes CS8 turn 1 and a white w/black stripes CS6 turn 2 along with Slimer. Saturday Slimer took the "Best Modern Mustang" award and Sunday I got a Top 20 and the red CS8 took "Best Current Mustang"

SVTOA in Memphis had a show last weekend were Slimer took "Best paint" & "Best of Show"

So the CS6 is a big hit here in the South, I've had nothing but great comments on my conversion and a lot of " Did you special order your car?" & " Where did you buy this car?"

I had a guy @ Bowling Green say that he had a Legend Lime too but his was just a V6 and his jaw hit the ground when I replied "So is this".

I know that the Shelby CS6/CS8 was probably intended to be more than what it became back in 2006 @ the SEMA show, and that like always Mr Shelby was ahead of the times with a vision of a supercharged performance V6 and that years later the Terlingua was that car, I for one am glad that these conversion were available for purchase.

Yes, I remember your car. That was the Southern Heritage show in the coliseum. That is the only inside show that I have been to. The modified judge for that show is now the president of the MCA.
