Both rear/coil over shocks/dampers leaking oil on my CSX4000 car, enough that there was a puddle of oil on the floor, under the car at
the lower mount point. They, the coil overs were made by Dynamic. I've replaced them with the help of the guys at Shelby. Anyone else
have or have had this problem. Just curious. Mike

Had the same problem several years ago, but not as bad (no puddle). Have a friend that had leakers on his Cobra too. I replaced the front and rear shocks with Billsteins and new coils. I think my cobra rides and handles better with the Billsteins. CSX4269.

I had Tom's Motorsports in Las Vegas replace all my coils and install his own custom Bilstein shocks, then he did a 4 wheel alignment. Car handles like a dream!

I blew my rears going over a very rough, rail road track. Most shocks can be rebuilt by the company or getting a seal kit from them. I would call them about your issue.

I have two Aldan's that need work and will sell cheap.

I changed to adjustable QA-1's on my 427 Cobra and work very well. I wish some how I could try the Bilstein's to compare.
