I'm looking for a recommended performance shop for my KB S/C'ed SGT in Scottsdale, any suggestions?

Good Luck! Let us know if you find one. I did hear a few people took their regular Mustang GT's to AMP in Phoenix.

You can send a PM to 6 Speed a forum member in Phoenix who might know some more.

AMP would not be my first choice. Try calling Restoration Performance center. They have a parts shop at the Pavilions in Scottsdale. 480-362-1032

Better yet there will be a large performance car get together at the Pavilions tonight (Saturday). Go there and ask the Mustang crowd. Performance Restorations is on the north side next to the Home Depot. They stay open for these events.

Go south on the 101 to Indian Bend Rd. then west and it is on the north side behind the McDonalds.

There is also this place in Wickenberg, which is 35 miles Northwest of Phoenix.

John,

I would contact Chip Beck. He lives in Scottsdale and owns, as I recall, a SGT/SC, a GT500, a Ford GT and a 427 Cobra. He is a great guy and very willing to share what he knows (and he knows a lot). Here is a link to him: http://www.teamshelb...?showuser=12804

Yeah, I was hoping Chip would chime in here, knowing he's in the area.

Don't wait for him to chime in, contact him directly. He will not mind.

I have heard some good things about Performance Solution Racing (PSR) in Phoenix. My neighbor had some work done by them on his Roush 427; said he was pleased with them.

I tried to find their web site on-line but couldn't find anything.

Try giving them a call if interested:

Here you go.

DynoComp
8295 E. Raintree Drive
Scottsdale, AZ

Ask for Richard. This is a first rate shop with a 4 wheel dyno and very knowlegeable people. They installed the SC on my Shelby GT and everything was perfect. It blows my GT500 into the weeds. Send me a PM and I'll give you my cell # if you have any questions.
