Anybody know what this tool is for? I found it in my toolbox and for some reason can not recall when or for what I purchased it for. It appears to be some sort of crimper.

We have one at work. It is to put connectors on a ribbon cable. The connectors are IDC connectors, you lay the bottom half of the connector in the slotted part, place the ribbon cable over the pins and then put the top of the connector over the cable and squeeze.
