Hey , just was curious for all you Griggs Suspension guys out there....Does the griggs setup HELP with the axle hop associated with the live axle out back. My car gets unsettled whenever road get bumpy... its getting annoying

I was thinking that coilovers setup pushes the shocks and springs farther outward (roll center) and coilovers lower unsprung weight...but i dunno.... does watts link help as well...

anyone?

I don't have wheel hop. Zero. None. Nada.

It's the UCA's and LCA's that will help with wheel hop. The Watts Link will help you with the body roll which helps with your cornering. It's a night and day difference.

The Griggs Racing suspension will help eliminate the wheel hop.
The most important is the TorqueArm geometry and at the same time greatly improves standing starts and or forward bite.
Along with the improved bushings materiel (Urethane-Quiet or Heim) used in the lower control arms help to reduce wheel hop.

We tracked and road tested a GT500, one with a GR40 Suspension and one without. This article will be coming out in a future release MM& FF very soon.
The Watts Link eliminated the unsettled feeling on the bumpy roads/track. There was a certain area at Texas World Speedway that would really make you hang on to the car under part throttle as the road surface had a few bumps. With the Griggs Racing suspension, it was not a problem. We were able to give the GT500 more throttle input and walk away from the Stock GT500.

Is the care lowered?
What we have found is when the cars are lowered with just lowering springs the suspension geometry is diminished greatly. Forward bite is not as good as it was and you get more understeer, more instability in car and the wheel hop will be more noticeable.

I hope this helps

Best regards,

Had my Griggs ST rear end for several months now. No wheel hop. Ever. Not with stock tires. Not with 305/35R18 RA1s. Nothing. The Griggs kit is the ultimate kit for our car.

Since you're in Morgan Hill, come up and see the shop. We're about 15 mins from Infineon Raceway.

So the regular retail price is $789.95? I'm only interested in the torque arm, crossmember, and associated hardware and front bushing.

Any sale price would be below that?
