I would like anyone that has a GT500 that went 9's to post up if they don't mind. Not trying to bust balls or start a debate but I have been on most of the GT500 boards and don't recall many.

I think my 2.9 with the right setup may do it but am still considering the new 3.6 KB with my new engine (Ford GT Block). Or maybe the Whipple 4.0?

I just want to get a count if that's possible?

Thankyou 2 years ago with this car we ran 9.75 147 6 speed stock everything.except a 2.8 KB We used a 50 shot for that run on stock street driven car. We have a auto in it now and it is still street driven . When we use nos we will be in the 8's. I dont know if we will run anymore because we have a cobra jet turning 9.6 running a/sa and are going in a different direction this year.

Definitely, but I was curious how much nitrous was used because 152 mph is a lot for a twin screwed GT500, especially if its full weight. :happy feet:

Thanks for posting up everyone. Some great times out there, even with the Tvs.

I will be doing some suspension work for more traction over the winter (and will probably start breaking stuff). I guess I will stick with the 2.9 for one more summer at least.

My GT block build will be setup for over 7K rpm. It will be 358 cid as well, Dart Engineering did the block prep and resleeve.

It will be awhile before I have everything together the $$$ is adding up fast! So like I said I will do one more summer with the 2.9 and see how it goes. Besides I think I will let some others be in the first group of buyers for the new superchargers, I was with the Tvs and 2.9. Now look at all the stuff out for the Tvs that wasn't around when I had mine.

Anyone else has any info feel free to post it up.

When you run a bottle enough to blow fire out the back. Then its hard to say the word stock. :headscratch:
