Team Shelby Club 2019 Team Shelby Membership Kit Please note that membership contents are subject to change.   Team Shelby was designed and engineered by real enthusiasts inside and out of Shelby.   Team Shelby was originally formed in 2008 by Carroll Shelby. He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2019, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Ownership of a Shelby is not required to be a member. The club is dedicated to serving all Shelby enthusiasts past and present including those that own cars built in the 1960's and Shelby Dodges too! Carroll Shelby (Team Shelby Member #001) said: "We built Team Shelby for anyone who is passionate about Shelby cars! We’ll have a blast and we'll do it the Shelby way!   Yearly Membership Rates   U.S. $49.99 | Canada & Mexico $59.99 | E.U., others $65.99   Join the Team Shelby Club   click here to choose a Team Shelby Club subscription package.   Membership Kit Arrival   Your Team Shelby Club membership kit and I.D.card will generally arrive within 6-8 weeks.   Need Help?   Email Brianna:  e-mail her here.

  1. Little Daddy’s Family Restaurant 39500 N. Woodward Ave. Bloomfield Hills, MI. 48304 (248) 647-3400. Plan to join us on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 7:00PM for a new chapter of the Shelby Club story.
  2. Discontinued Shelby Billet Shift Knob

So you asked what a good asking price is, can you tell us what a good selling price was?
  3. Has anyone looked into this airbag recall litigation? Hear advertisements on radio, don't like to get involved as lawyers are the only ones that really make out on these lawsuits. Besides, until the airbag goes off, I'm satisfied with recall.
  4. New Member, Hollywood Florida

I belong to more than one club. Living far from Florida, I know nothing about what goes on there. That said, Tony on the saac(forum).com is always promoting some kind of event in Florida.
  5. No 2008 or 2009 GT500KR convertibles. Much to my sadness. At one time had a plan to turn GT500 into GT500KR, biggest hurdle was hood. Shelby was very tight-fisted about them.
  6. Did they actually do anything for you?
  7. Went to Woodward Cruise as part of Team Shelby Dearborn Invasion on Mustang Alley in Ferndale. Met two guys from Airbag Recall team. Complained about this problem. They took my name and number. Valerie called me Monday morning, gave her my serial number. She called dealer (Dean Sellers, Troy, MI). They called me this morning, went in at 10:45. At 11:00 I was driving out with Shelby GT500 black wheel center installed. I guess third time's the charm. Valerie said I could give her number for help with air bag problems: (313) 621-0641
  8. Any luck with taking it back? I had mine done, I knew something was wrong but thought it was my imagination.
  9. National Mustang Day (observed) 4/15/2018

Another display planned for tomorrow afternoon at Ford World HQ. People who work may have problem getting there, except for the Ford guys, of course.
  10. Please join Team Shelby Great Lakes Region, SAAC-MCR, MCC & MOCSEM for this year’s Motor City edition of the annual National Mustang Day on Sunday, April 15, 2018. Back by popular demand is the traditional meet-up & photo-op in front of Ford World Headquarters. We have extended the meet-up time to a full hour to allow for more socializing & picture taking. Next, and also by popular demand & tradition, we will caravan to Mike Berardi's awesome Mustang Collection to see old & new additions to his herd! Per tradition, lunch will be provided at Mike's by the host clubs, free of charge. New for this year, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the theatrical release of the classic Mustang movie "Bullitt", will caravan to the Emagine Theater in Canton for a private screening of the movie, followed by a film festival style panel discussion about some of the behind the scenes insider info on how the original movie car was brought back out for public viewing this year. There will be a nominal fee for the theater rental, which includes luxury recliner seating with pop & popcorn - all at a discounted deal. Registration deadline is April 2nd, so we can reserve the proper size theater. You must reserve to participate, so we can also order the sufficient lunch quantities. Hope to see as many of you there as possible! 9:00 - 10:00 AM @ Ford WHQ - Meet-up, socializing, & photo-ops 10:00 - 10:30 AM Travel to Mike Berardi's Collection 10:30 - 11:30 AM Tour of Mike's Collection 11:30 AM -12:30 PM Lunch at Berardi's 12:30-1:00 PM Travel to Emagine theater in Canton 1:00-2:00 PM Reserved area parking & socializing, getting pop & popcorn, seats in theater 2:00-4:00 PM Private screening of "Bullitt" 4:00-4:30 PM Film festival style panel discussion about the original movie car on how they got it inside Ford once revealed & on the NAIAS display. 11. National Mustang Day (observed) 4/15/2018

So how did you observe National Mustang Day? Rain and ice at Ford World HQ. Tour of Mike's was warm and dry. Excellent lunch served by our friend Rich. BULLITT on the big screen was enjoyable. Jay Leno Garage trailer about upcoming episode featuring 2019 Bullitt Mustang. All in all, a good day despite the cold and damp.
  12. It's officially Spring as of 12:15 pm (1:45 in Newfoundland), time to plan for Summer. OK guys, need to visit aunt in Caledonia. Need cover story for insurance purposes to drive GT500. Last time used the Guelph Ribfest Car Show, but that's not 'til August. What have we got before then.
  13. Die-Cast collections

Kind of sad to see the Royal Pontiac car, they're building a hotel where the dealership was.

Thank you. Any others would be appreciated.
  15. Hello From Australia

Welcome aboard, Mr. MacArthur. What kind of travel interests you? Within Australia, Europe, the Americas, Antarctica?

  19. 2018 Michigan Events

Holiday Party is now history. Excellent meal at Ford's Garage in Dearborn. Watched the Fords finish 1-2-3-4 at the Daytona Clash. Not the same as last summer, nobody had their top down.
  20. Did Franco not have a last name? But to answer the original question, "Rex Kars"
    • Anything planned for 2018 in Ontario?
  21. Trip to the Gilmore Museum

Saturday, September 30 Come join us at one of the premier automotive themed museums in the country! Located in the rolling countryside of Hickory Corners, the huge museum complex includes many buildings, a number that are marque specific & several designed in the theme of an era specific dealership. New museums & displays are being created all the time, so if you've been there before you'll see some familiar friends & new ones too! Selecting a location on the west side hopefully enables those not in the SE MI area to meet with us, & encourages Team Shelby - Great Lakes Region members on the west side & neighboring states to meet with their Motor City Chapter brethren! For those traveling from the Detroit metro area, we will pick a meet up location - somewhere west of Ann Arbor off I-94, & time (likely 9:30AM?) - both to be identified later. For those traveling from other directions or solo, target is to arrive at Gilmore by 11:30AM.More details to follow. Please use the "Going" feature on the club Facebook page so we can get an idea of how many people to expect. https://www.facebook.com/events/1893012394353894/?acontext=%7B%22source%22%3A4%2C%22action_history%22%3A%22null%22%7D&source=4&action_history=nullhttps://www.gilmorecarmuseum.org/ We will have special parking inside the complex on the museum grounds, so you won't have to worry about pedestrian parking door dings! We will be parking as a group on the grassy center court of the museum grounds, & add eye candy for other visitors to the museum!! Admission is $11/adult (regular admission is $13)!
  22. UPS Stores do this kind of thing, but someone would have to take them there. Like Mississippi, Michigan is a fairly large place, what city are we talking about? What size are these parts, wheels, hood, shift knob?
