  1. I have a 2007 SGT that I'm getting ready to do a tire/wheel upgrade. I thought I could save a few hundred dollars by using the TPMS sensors from my original wheels..... then I saw an article that said the battery life in the OEM sensors is around 5-7 years. I really didn't want to have the light on the dash flashing at me all the time, but if I use the OEM sensors instead of buying new ones, that could happen before the new tires need replacing! Also, the batteries can't be replaced. Just thought I would pass this info along. Mark

  3. Sorry! I know this is an old topic.... Just getting around to replacing my faux gas cap with the FRPP piece w/Tiffany snake to match my new wheel centers. I looked through some old posts and I have a couple of questions. If my cap has the nuts/clips on the two studs does that mean it can't be removed. I tried looking and I could not see up in there to determine if the clips were there or not? I know the FRPP cap has the clips. Did anyone have a Tiffany snake center emblem made to go over the GT center emblem? THANKS for any info!!!! Mark
  4. Just my 2 cents... unless your car is a daily driver, I would suggest hooking up a Battery Tender charger to the battery. The BT will fully charge the battery and then monitor/maintain the full charge. Sometimes my car will sit 1-3 weeks between drives and I have never had a battery charge issue. I installed the Optima red top in the spare tire well.
  5. Hey All, Getting ready to replace my 2 piece spark plugs and wanted to confirm some things I've read on past posts on this forum and on other Mustang forums.... It sounds like most of the replacement plugs are 2 piece also except for maybe the Brisk plugs??? Does anyone else make a one piece plug? I noticed in the TSB that it didn't say to put anti sieze on the threads, don't the threads need some on them too? Thanks!! Mark
  6. Thanks JeffJ! Sorry, I missed those threads last week. For anyone wanting a set of wheels that look VERY similar to the KR wheels... check out the SS fully polished wheels from True Forged... and you can get them in any offset and width. Pretty expensive though!! But they look awesome!
  7. Hey Jer, I just read an email from Ford Racing dated 8/8 that said they have a limited supply of GT500KR parts for sale. The 18 x 9 1/2" wheels, shifter kit, brake cooling kit and suspension parts. They say to contact FRPP dealers for availability and prices. That sounds like a dealer mark-up to me.... just saying. How did FRPP obtain these and not SPP? Did anyone else receive this? Mark
  8. I agree with the others, I would wait and do a few mods before I had it dyno tuned. Now if your car was an automatic, you would notice a real difference in the driveability under full throttle. They can change the red line RPM, up the shift points of the trans (RPM's where the trans upshifts) and change the shift pressure so the trans shifts faster & harder! No problem chirping the tires when it shifts! Mark
  9. Dan and all the guys at Pro-Dyno are awesome and they do GREAT work (check out their web page for all the services they provide) I highly recommend them to everyone! This is my local shop and I have had them do all of my mods and tuning. Well worth the drive for people out of state... you won't be disappointed!!!
  10. Hey all, I put the collection along with some books I decided to sell also on eBay. Items #171010767969 & #171010826802. The auctions run until 4/7. Thanks, Mark

  12. Hey all, Here is a list of the items I have. I'm not sure these are the "official" names of the items... 1. Thanks for your support. Mark

  14. Thinking about selling my extensive literature collection for the 2005-06 Ford GT. These items were purchased from eBay back in 05-06 when they were all still available. Items include: sales brochures, owners manuals, dealer only portfolios and promotional items, etc. A lot of items are still in original packaging and everything is in mint condition. Some items are very rare! I have no idea what this collection is worth and not sure how to go about finding out??? I would like to sell as a complete collection and not part it out. Please let me know if you are interested and I will get pictures and descriptions of items. This would be an awesome collection for the owner of a Ford GT or a great addition to an existing collection. Thanks! Mark
