Team Shelby Club 2018 Team Shelby Membership Kit Please note that membership contents are subject to change.   Team Shelby was designed and engineered by real enthusiasts inside and out of Shelby.   Team Shelby was originally formed in 2008 by Carroll Shelby. He wanted to create a club for people to truly enjoy their cars. He knew the world had changed, and he wanted his companies to meet the needs of the new generation of Shelby owners. His vision was to knit together those people with the owners of early Shelby's and give everyone fun new ways to experience their high performance vehicles.   Mr. Shelby imagined a place where owners could talk about their latest conquests at the track, swap stories, share photos and learn new ways to hot rod their cars! He wanted to link all of the enthusiasts into one "dream garage"... thus, Team Shelby was born!   Team Shelby has many free, open access forums, news sections and member only areas dedicated to the community.   In addition, Team Shelby has a full series of events for 2018, which include VIP Experiences, track days, National & Regional gatherings, cruises, car shows and more! Ownership of a Shelby is not required to be a member. The club is dedicated to serving all Shelby enthusiasts past and present including those that own cars built in the 1960's and Shelby Dodges too! We’ll have a blast and we'll do it the Shelby way!   Yearly Membership Rates   U.S. $49.99 | Canada & Mexico $59.99 | E.U., others $65.99   Join the Team Shelby Club   click here to choose a Team Shelby Club subscription package.   Membership Kit Arrival   Your Team Shelby Club membership kit and I.D.card will generally arrive within 6-8 weeks.   Need Help?   Email Brianna:  e-mail her here.

  1. New 2006 Hertz In the House

You haven't read my posts about my black BJ SGTs? Black paint is a job. It will become an obsession. First thing to remember is that you should NEVER use a California Duster. They just move grains of sand around, about 2000 grit sandpaper. Use spray detailer with a very well worn microfiber towel (one that has been washed "many times") to clear the dust off. You should start off with a prep. Wash the car with detergent to get the old wax off. Then clay bar. Then wax. I used Turtle Wax Ice paste - two coats. Then use the detailer to keep the dust down, and every two or three cleanings with the detailer wash and re-polish with the Ice liquid. This will keep the swirl marks down to a minimum, but every 2nd season send the car to a trained professional for a true polishing detail to get rid of the microscratches. Lather rinse repeat. The same method worked on my Cobra - British Racing Green is heavily "black" biased and suffered the same maintenance issues. PS. Ice products work well because the wax can be used on plastic parts - the black things like mirrors and front grills as well as the stripes. My red strips so treated had not faded when I had to have the front ones replaced because of the scoop buckling.
  2. New 2006 Hertz In the House

Way cool. They are unique and instantly recognizeable.
  3. It's 4 per year. It doesn't say how many years. It is not a GT350R engine (Ford doesn't sell it without a GT350(R) wrapped around it), it is the Shelby Engine Company 427 (alloy block). It won't have cupholders. Note the announcement didn't list a price. It also doesn't say if it is street legal. All of these cars are for toy owners with deep pocket books.
  4. Gt350R for GT350 price

I'd Rather Be Lucky Than Good
  5. 1967 Shelby GT 500 Fastback wanted!!

Post in the SAAC forum. this is mostly new mustangs.
  6. Rebuilt Shelby GT

  7. Floor mats slippage

I've used these. https://www.amazon.com/GG-Bailey-14102G-Mat-Loc-Retention/dp/B01MU9N5MU/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1525800072&sr=8-7&keywords=floor+mat+clips They are pretty generic though and this is only to show what they look like not as an endorsement of this particular mfgr/seller.
  8. Sell or keep 2011 GT500

As with all things technological whatever exists tomorrow will be better than what exists today. Automobiles are no different. Both are Shelbys so go for the GT350.
  9. Ha!!! Blame Canada !
  10. I'd recommend you post date codes on all tires. Then let people decide.
  11. Colorado

The groups/shows I went to were in Northern Colorado (Boulder/Longmont/Loveland/Ft. Collis/Greeley/Estes Park). The only one I can remember is the Northern Colorado Mustang Car Club. They do a show that used to be at the outlet mall in Loveland. Another one did the Horsefeathers show at Stapleton. http://www.ncmcc.org/ Maybe someone else can find a list, but the others are here, and you can search for them on your clock instead of mine Just look in this subforum at the titles for the show events for the past years. I posted links in the past. For the record, I don't find roofers and get background checks either
  12. Colorado

The "Colorado Shelby Breakfast Club" is down in that area. Search for contact info here. Look in this subforum for my posts. I used to post lots of show info. Almost all of those shows still run. Remember the Shelby American Collection party. It will be 9/1/18 along with a drawing for the GT350R. Don't you mean why does Mid America schedule on the same weekend as the Rocky Mountain Roundup?
  13. Daily Driver

Why not get another Dodge Ram? My 2004 Ram 1500 is the most solid vehicle I ever owned. My wife prefers it for road trips.
