  1. Use the tape for the rockers. You can remove them if you want. I painted my over the top stripes and left the side rockers alone. No issue
  2. Agree, the cut out are kinda crude on the 06 GT-Hs that made it a slight challenge. That said thanks
  3. Just noticed the header on this topic. Not sure how that happended. I cannot correct it. None the less, all done
  4. Thanks, I did get it off. I actually had to use a plastic pin removal tool and slide it between the grill the cover to get it to release from the grill and then pull it forward to get the opening area Shelby cut to clear the pin towers.
  5. Disregard, I got it, its fairly flexible and slightly bending it and using the plastic pin removal tool helps
  6. Is there a trick to removing the radiator cover on our GT-H/SGTs? I removed the 6 plastic push pins but the 2 hood pin rods are preventing the cover from lifting off, whats the trick or do I need to remove the grill
  7. Glenda and I are in. paid Go Fund we are in and booked on the boat!
  8. Ya maybe. No advertising on the4 car. Thanks for info.
  9. Anyone on here in the Moab Utah area with a 2006 GT-H? While traveling through Moab I spotted a 2006 GT-H on Saturday the 27th in Moab on the 191 HWY. They were having a huge car show. I was hoping to get a motel but they were all full. It was huge. That said, I tried to flag the owner down but traffic held me back and I lost where he was going as the car turned into a residential area. First 06 I have seen in a while and hoping to talk Hertz & Shelby stuff.
  10. Consider contacting Shelby American and or the Foundation. They may have some for sale.
  11. Quick sale. The new owner should drive the wheels off of it and enjoy it for what it is.
  12. Nice, got one for my 06 GT-H several years ago. Nice that they reference the GT-H etc. Another document for the file.
  13. Not good. Roof flap, Hope all are ok. High speed T bone for sure.
  14. All booked. First time in 11 years not taking the GT-H/SC. Decided to fly in & get a rental for a few days. That said, I will be in Vegas from the 11th through the 18th. Plan to visit some friends, do some site seeing then Bash. Does anyone know if the cars & coffee that Shelby hosts on Saturdays will occur on Saturday during the Bash? They have been getting some cool rides.
  15. Thanks Steve. The links are cool as well. See you soon
  16. Wasn't really looking for an answer. Just being a smart A@@. There is always a better mouse trap with the improvements in technology and building material. New 2020 GT500 as an example. That said, good luck trying to keep up and enjoy. And yes, I have driven several cars over the course of time. I'll just keep the GT-H/SC for now. It's cheaper that way. haha.
  17. You are correct about 425 hp. My 06 Hertz has a Shelby installed Paxton. 424rwh. Dynoed by Shelby back in the day @ one of the Bash events. Original motor, so a safe tune.
  18. I have a placemat set. That was a cool place.
  19. Cobraguy69, These dash plaques were not mounted on the cars while they were in rental. A decal was used instead. You had to contact Shelby with proof of ownership to get the goodies which included the dash plaque, key chain etc. Good ole ebay. Good info everyone.
